So initial ideas on this headphone:
so comfortable. I'm not even kidding, the cloth and foam used is light and soft but provides a perfect clamp. These are already my favourite just to wear without talking about sound. Build construction feels very solid considering these are plastic. Everything feels premium without being heavy and weighted. Speaking on weight, these are LIGHT. I have a pair of JBL on ears that are smaller and heavier than these. You can tell they've made these a very utilitarian headphone. They also don't get hot from wearing them too long. Lots of leather cupped earphones get hot and gross to wear and these feel fantastic.
I love the design, it's so technical looking without being unstylish or clunky. The grill is metal and you get a clear view of the inner pieces which really makes these just that bit cooler.
They are so warm sounding. I love them so much. I haven't gone through a burn in period but i'll speak more on this in a few weeks once they're broken in properly. I can say though that I wear them at the office and they get loud enough that i can hear them without others hearing them too. I was surprised considering they're open back headphones that nobody else has commented on hearing anything. You do hear everything going on around you but I enjoy it. It makes it feel more like I'm in the environment rather than closed off, which has it's perks and downsides.
The wire's length bothers me a bit but it's such a small thing that i can overlook it. If anyone has questions I'd be happy to answer them. I'd give them a solid 9/10, just because of the cord length and because i know i'll revisit this once i burn em in.

nigelsequeiraI just plugged in a generic 4-ft cord with miniplugs on each end - works perfectly.
