there are no threads on this grinder for pollen and other plant material to sneak into over time so parts shouldn't ever stick together. There is no ceramic coating on the teeth, but there are also not dozens and dozens of teeth. I would imagine pollen could build up, but should be very easy to clean due to teeth shape..
