When I wrote all day, I noticed that I was developing a little tendonitis in my elbow while using the standard G2 pen, mostly. This was limiting my writing session time but taking notes with a keyboard doesn't really do it for me. I found a very limited selection of these in a local office supply store (for more than what's being charged here) and tried one out. Then, at about $9/each, I bought a bunch (I color-code my notes). The larger barrel and the cushy grip made a huge difference. When I have to write with a roller/gel pen, these are what I use.
For those who are curious, tendon inflamation in the elbow is strongly associated with tightness (and narrowness?) of one's hand grip. Writing with a well balanced, comfortable, large-barrelled pen (like these) uses a more relaxed grip and can help to ease inflamation of the elbow (and cramping in the hand).
My switch to fountain pens came about (partially, at least) as a result of looking for a writing experience that was even easier on the hand and elbow. Now I'm hooked, but I usually carry around one of these for those times when a fountain pen isn't right for the job.
For CONUS, the lowest drop price on these is very reasonable - especially given the full selection of colors/styles. On Amazon, the current price for these seems to be anywhere from $7.75 - $10.50 (w/ Prime shipping - shipping not included (<$35) if buyer doesn't have Prime).
If you use G2 refills and want a more sublime writing experience than the standard shell, these will deliver.
As usually, I hope this helps anyone considering joining.
Cheers.

Another comfy pen and another reason to spend :)). @Massdrop, what's the body/barrel material made of? Been googling this and can't seem to find the proper info on this specific pen. Got a lot of hits for the Full Black or the Mechanical Pencil. Says 'metallic' in the Description but I think that's the color or coating (?) rather than 'metal construction'. @Liz_M
Strumm
Hey @Strumm, good question.
These pens have plastic barrels - the Ltd. series has a metallic coating, and the Neon series is translucent. Thanks for asking, and I've added this to the Specs for clarity.
