ReziusDoes "normal notebook" mean cheaper paper than rhodia? Then I suggest buying ink that doesn't feather much and is generally well behaved, like Noodler's X-feather (which is black and specifically formulated to not feather) or Noodler's Black. Pilot/Namiki Blue is another good option. Although it is not advertised as such, it is pretty water resistant and permanent, like Noodler's.
Waterman's Serenity Blue is a great ink, too. It looks nice and it performs really well in these pens and almost every other pen (the first blue I bought). But it is wetter than the aforementioned Noodler's inks, so it feathers more on cheap paper.
You know what? There are so many inks that I can't recommend only one or two. Diamine alone has over a hundred ink colours. Buy some quality paper (clairefontaine, rhodia) and then get whatever ink strikes your fancy, without having to worry about feathering or bleedthrough. Visit a pen store online (gouletpens has a great collection of inks with some great tools to view and compare) and check out the vast number of inks. Happy pen addiction!
