Unless you really know these pens from personal use, I'd warn against purchasing them at any price. It's not that they are bad pens--they work fine, it's just that they are WAY OVER-HYPED by the manufacturer and merchants selling them. They are very boring pens, nothing special or even interesting about them. Plan-jane in every way, especially feel and feedback when writing. These pens are to fountain pens what Bic pens are to ballpoints. You can dress them up in bright colors but that won't change what's underneath. Save your money and buy something you'll actually enjoy using in this price range (Lamy Safari or All Star would be much better options).

I don't say they're a bad pen, just that if you're looking for the thrill of a fountain pen, these are kind of like what a Toyota Corolla is to cars--works great and is pretty popular with the masses. But if you're looking for a real sex-machine of a pen, this (and the Corolla) ain't it ;- )
