I received my shipment with only 1 pen included. The packing slip included notes both pens, but has one crossed out. The tracking number included only lists one package. What gives?

I'm not sure what happened, but I've forwarded this info to our Customer Support team and they are looking into it. You can expect someone to be in touch today to find out which one you received and which one you are owed.
Sorry for the mixup, we'll get this resolved ASAP.

RoboboboI have the exact same problem. I ordered the black pen (fine nib) and the gold pen (medium nib) and only received the black pen.

JonasHeinemanI also received only one pen. I ordered one black fine pen and one gold medium. The packing slip has the gold medium I ordered on it, but the quantity of "1" is circled and slashed through.

Pilot short shipped us a batch of the Metropolitan Fountain Pens in Gold Medium. For the orders that are affected by this shortage, we went ahead and partially shipped what we have in the warehouse and backorder the rest. We should be getting the remaining order of the Gold Medium Metropolitan pens within the next few days from Pilot.
We will have them shipped out to everyone as soon as they come in. We apologize for the delay and confusion caused by this.

RobMAgreed, and have stated so earlier in the thread, as have others. @nelson hasn't addressed these comments. Apparently Massdrop thinks everyone who joins a drop sits camped out in the discussion thread for the drop hitting refresh every day to get updates. I'm involved in another drop which has also turned into a (even worse) fiasco, and multiple updates were only posted to the discussion thread but not emailed.
This model can work, but Massdrop's execution is not working well. Largely due to lack of accountability for staff to communicate often and in detail, using mechanisms that actually reach people. I'm a busy working professional and don't "hang out" on the Massdrop discussion threads, which is probably true of most people.
The last emailed update for this drop was on 11/20, and was vague about the missing items in people's orders, and promised an update by 11/24, which never came. I could have just spent $5 more and bought 2 Pilot Metropolitans from Amazon and had them in two days. Next time I will.
