A few more things to keep in mind for those considering joining this drop:
1. For those living in CONUS, interested in the styles/selections offered and don't need this yesterday, this is a good deal.
2. I (truly) have no affiliation with Massdrop. Based on past experience (and reading through discussion posts from a year ago), this might be the last drop to send out pens in time for the Xmas holidays. This may be particularly the case if you're looking for a nice pen to give a coworker through some sort of "Secret Santa" thing. Of course, the frequency of these drops may also enable another cycle before the holidays. As I said, I don't have any inside knowledge one way or the other.
3. There are some very informative posts a few pages back. For example, I think I made a series of posts somewhere between pp. 33-36 that might have some useful info including detailed nib size compatibility and comparisons. Others have also made excellent (and better) posts than mine. If you have a question, there is a good chance it's been answered by someone from this discussion already.
4. According to Brian Goulet (not directly, but through his Youtube broadcasts), Pilot may be releasing a new set of colors and/or prints for the Metropolitan before Xmas. That said, I have no idea when they will be offered, how much the will cost and who will be selling them (except for the Goulets, or course).
