jetpen has a minimum $25 purchase to receive free shipping. If a person needs one pen, im not sure if jetpen is the most economical value. After all, it does have a shipping of $7 for me

porkrindyes, but you'll need ink for that pen won't you? the one cartridge it comes with will go fast. that's where you'll make up the next 10.50 easily.

theeattrewhile that is true, but i dont think beginners like me know what ink to choose from. I rather get some samples first and then try them out. I dont want to jump on a bottle of ink that doesnt fit my need.

porkrindyou should check out the Goulet pen company! They have some great youtube videos about the metropolitan (look up this model on their website). They also offer a bunch of ink samples, as well as fine papers. Noodler's bulletproof black is a pretty solid standard for almost all types of paper.

porkrindbut you'll jump on a fountain pen that may or may not fit your need? :)
