If you are new to fountain pens, this is a fantastic pen at an affordable price. Most fountain pens of this quality are substantially more expensive.
This nib is well known for its flexibility, which is what draws most people to use fountain pens.
Bear in mind a medium Japanese nib, which is what this is, is narrower than a European medium nib. I find it to be a good beginners nib, but the ink you select is an important part of your writing experience.
This will take Namiki / Pilot disposables, but I recommend you use the con-20 converter so you can use a fantastic ink of your own choosing. The Iroshizuku inks offered on Massdrop are the best of the best in flow quality. I also like Diamine inks as they flow well and produce my favorite colors, but there are thousands of fountain pen inks to chose from.
