Is there anyway to get one without the water tool attachment?

NguyenNegative, but it's a pretty killer deal regardless. Water Tool is $69.99 MSRP.

andyIt is a killer deal, the combo was $253.99 last time. Disappointing for those who jumped on the combo the first time around.

M_at_oNo, it was $204.99 last time. Almost the same as this offer.
HOWEVER,
be warned that the water tool I received in the previous drop was NOT a Pinnacle Water Tool. It came in a GotVape.com branded box (which mentioned that a 7" model also exists). It was very similar to the Pinnacle units I've seen close-up photos of, but had no printing on it, and a more flared mouthpiece with no inner lip, and apparently thinner glass (at least at the lip, where it is much thinner).
Whatever it is, the splashguard doesn't prevent splashing and it also fills up with water around the base of the guard and then doesn't drain (despite there being three slots cut in the base), which means you can't maintain the water level in the perk without leaving the area above the splashguard part-full too, which means you can't pocket it full of water even upright as it will spill. It's also set too low in the tube, wasting stacking room in the perk chamber, and further exacerbating the guard picking up water. (that last issue applies to real tubes too, going on pics I've seen)
Oh, and the upstem is very restrictive, but the slits in the perk are massive holes. Seriously, any one of them would allow as much flow as the single upstem feeding all eight of them. The perk venting should be the most restrictive part of the air path, to develop max pressure and move as much water as possible. Their cross-sectional area in-total (not individually) should ideally be less than any downstream point, including the upstem.
The Pinnacle Pro itself produces good vapour, and is tiny. Pity the cap comes off so easy, and the bullet and its contents fall out so readily, and the bullets have no integrated cap. It's really hard to pull the tube off the Pinnacle to clear without popping the top off instead of breaking the PonG connection, but I can live with that. Going to clear it on a conventional piece which requires inverting the Pinnacle, though, is a bit annoying. You go to clear it, the unit lifts away from the PonG adapter, the bullets falls out and there's material everywhere. You have to remember to manually hold the cap on the thing as you pull it to prevent this, which means holding the hottest part. You'd think this being the second gen they would have changed this. It really should have a latch or catch that's manually operated, or mesh-capped bullets you can load up and throw loose in a container/pocket/bag whatever without them spilling, or both. :/
This is the most capable portable I've tried yet, but it's definitely not without issues. Maybe the Pinnacle Ultimate Pro Type R EX Plus Alpha Championship Edition Me ONE will be the one to finally iron out all the gremlins?

Anonymousechiming in to agree. the water attachment barely holds any water and if you tip it at all the water pours out (possibly into your pinnacle if its not on tightly).
i assumed it would be the one from vaporblunts PRO combo, but no, it's the one they packaged with the original pinnacle... a kind of fun little gimmick i guess but I'd give it a C-after watching my wife accidentally dump it numerous times.

A mistake was made by one of our vendors and instead of shipping us the Vaporblunt 14.4 mm Micro-shower Water Tool Attachment that we specifically asked for, they shipped us the GotVape.com branded version instead. It is inexcusable, and we apologize for the mix up and the confusion it might have caused for some of the members who participated in the previous drop.
Here's what's going to happen:
1. We have already placed an order for the Vaporblunt water tool attachment, and they will be shipped out to us later today. We will be shipping them out to the members that received the incorrect water tool attachment.
2. We will be issuing return shipping labels for the incorrect water tool attachment, and you can just ship back the incorrect one after you receive the replacement.
If you participated in the previous drop and have received the incorrect water attachment tool, just send us an email at support@massdrop.com, and we will take care of everything for you promptly.
tl;dr for members thinking about participating in the current group buy: - The water attachment tool included within this drop is by Vaporblunt (http://thevaporblunt.corecommerce.com/14-4-mm-Micro-shower-Water-Tool-Attachment.html). - One of our vendors mistakenly shipped us the incorrect water attachment tool. Members that were affected by this mistake are getting a replacement Vaporblunt water tool attachment.

AnonymouseYes, $204.99 without the water tool and $253.99 with the water tool. The current drop at the best price is $199.99 WITH the water tool.

nelsonHow do you identify the two water tools so that we can tell which one we received? Or do you know who received the wrong water tools?

hankiespancakesYou can compare yours to the image in the post above. Mine doesn't have pinnacle printed on it and is also structurally different from the one in the photo. Also, issues with water staying in the upper chamber and splashing seem to be related.

M_at_oNo dude, it was $204.99 _with_ the water tool. That's what I paid total and I got both. It was $155 for the PPro alone.

M_at_oThe previous, hence the past tense. You can't get the PPro alone in the current drop, either.

nelson@nelson I know this was a month ago but this is the first I'm noticing your message. Do I need to do anything to receive the proper attachment? I'm glad you guys caught the error, I assumed it was just a subpar product.
This one can't hold more than a tablespoon of water safely and dumps water INTO the pinnacle even when held vertical. Yikes!

Just a quick update on the Vaporblunt 14.4 mm Micro-shower Water Tool Attachment replacement.
We had to reject the most of the units in the first shipment we got due to breakage and quality concerns. The second batch of the shipment just came in, and they look pretty good.
We are going to have them shipped out to everyone that are looking for the replacement hopefully before end of the day today.
