Designed by Pioneer’s Chief Speaker Engineer, Andrew Jones, these floorstanding loudspeakers are great on their own or as part of a multi-channel home theater system. They feature a sophisticated eight-element crossover to route high frequencies to the tweeter and lower frequencies to the woofers Read More
Had these and really really wanted to like them. Nice build quality but mid/highs are lacking. Crossover starts to dump the bottom two woofers at 70hz, so these are basically a single 5.25" full range most of the time. Some songs guitar solos, vocals all but gone. Tried different position, elevated, toe-in, different receiver. No joy. Not very efficient so you will need some watts to back them up. These get hyped bc Andrew Jones name on them, but there is a reason these are dirt cheap. Traded mine for Sony Core floorstanders, they are surprisingly good.

Hope Massdrop could response to this query.

If you have the space for floorstanders these do a great job for the price... I'd say they are more warm/neutral and are not as bright. For music they are great in a 2.0 setup as they can get pretty low.
In a home theater setup they work well since my pioneer receiver adjusted for them and actually dialed the bass back a bit since I have a sub
