mdiuYep, just don't hook up the upward firing atmos drivers speaker terminals. These are a lot less efficient than many speaker designs and are 4 ohm nominal... make sure your source has enough juice to handle the load.

Yes, but the Andrew Jones Pioneer Elite speakers (with concentric drivers) such as this SP-EBS73-LR bookshelf speaker only comes with the Atmos speaker which would be wasted on strictly two channel audio (and at a considerable additional cost).
The cheaper second generation non-Elite Andrew Jones Pioneer speakers (without concentric drivers) include normal bookshelf speakers (SP-BS22-LR) in addition to Atmos bookshelf speakers (SP-BS22A-LR) and Atmos modules (SP-T22A-LR). They are also frequently on sale.
