So first, the standoff screws are too short, and now this?
Who the %$#& was in charge of quality control on this drop? This is unacceptable. The cable just unplugs by itself cause it doesn't go in all the way. This is with the hi-pro case, by the way.

folkravWow, just wow, glad I got a custom cable that's shrink-wrapped, but the cable that came with it does indeed not fit...

MinaDarshAlmost 6 days since I contacted support now, still no news.
"Due to the nature of your inquiry, this ticket has been forwarded over to a specialized team to better assist you. Please note that this specialty team's days of operation are Monday through Friday."
I'm kind of expecting I won't get an answer until the end of the week...

folkravDry fitted mine by screwing the PCB in (have to solder still), but it seems to go in far enough. Is it too loose with yours?
Hopefully they will help, though, but perhaps the community can think with you on this one.

MinaDarshUsing a cable with a smaller connector works, but it's kind of backwards that I can't use the cable I paid for, especially since it's a way nicer braided one than the cheap plastic cable I'm having to use currently. The only way this one would fit is if I tried to literally shave plastic off the connector, and I'm pretty sure I'd ruin it if I do this. Maybe I'll consider buying new connectors, some shrink wrap, cut the current ones and resolder the new ones, if I'm motivated, but still, I paid for kit that included a cable, I should have a usable cable...

folkravIt should just work with the stock one, yeah, they should've either made the opening larger or the plug smaller, the head of the plug is also huuuge I noticed. Sadly my custom one has a little wiggle, luckily friend of mine knows how to fix that, my Planck doesn't seem to have any show-stopping issues, but man, I'm a bit surprised reading the comments here.

MinaDarshSo... they offered me a $20 refund to compensate to having to buy screws AND a new cable. Just getting a new cable with shipping will cost me more than that, and I already had to buy the screws... Oh, and their other option was sending back the whole kit. What a joke...

folkravYeah, read something about way too small refunds... My case also has some rather severe scratches on the inside, contacted support about it too, hope they're not going to ask to send the whole package back or offer mere pocket change refunds... Like, what's refund going to do anyway? This colour can't be ordered outside the drop!

MinaDarsh*sigh* This is totally ridiculous. If this is how they always treat their customers, I'll probably buy directly from OLKB or other vendors. I'm tired of their bullshit, this thing cost me way more than I expected it to be, money and energy wise. This whole operation reeks of amateurism and unprofessionalism. Not sure I feel safe giving them that much money anymore...
