I got mine the other day and was finally able to open it up and assemble it last night. I bought some plate mount Zealios since they were sold out by the time I ordered mine. My plate had the same look as has been posted on here before with the jagged edges but they didn't prevent me from installing the switches, they actually went in easily and are held very firmly in the sockets without causing the switches to jam. The only thing that didn't go well during assembly was the stabilizer for the spacebar. I installed it after having to shave down the edges to get it to fit in the plate, but it wouldn't work when it was all said and done. From what I can tell, it just won't sit correctly and wouldn't connect with the keycap so I had to cut the stems off. It does prevent the sides from going down too far so I guess that counts as working. Overall I'm pretty happy with it, it is just a little bit of a struggle to learn the new layout, but today is my first day with it so that will come. The shift only on one side is so far the hardest thing to get used to. Next up, learning how to program it.

PoLoMoToI saw something about this the other day and I'm interested but I can't seem to locate it anymore. Might you have a link with more info?

darknyght00https://github.com/jackhumbert/qmk_firmware Its about a third of the way down the page, the section is titled "Space Cadet Shift: The future, built in" using it makes the left shift when pressed and released with no other keys enter an open parenthesis and the right does a close with the same. Its wonderful.

PoLoMoToAh, of course! That sounds like a pretty good plan. What did you end up doing with the enter key?
