Misinformation! The President doesn't have the Slip & Seal mechanism. That's found only on 3776 models. Examining the 3776 Demonstrator barrel, one would notice a spring absent on the President.

nicyeozhHey @nicyeozh -- I'm researching this now, thanks for noting this. Platinum's information regarding model numbers, features, and names is highly non-standardized and varies between the US and Japan, but we looked into this quite specifically - there was confusion about a prior drop for the Balance, which used to be just the Balance and then became the 3776 Balance.
I will verify this information and post an update when I have one, thanks again.

nicyeozhHey @nicyeozh -- You are correct, sir! I apologize for this error and appreciate you catching it.
We feel that it's odd for the #3776 models to have Slip-n-Seal, while the President does not.
My understanding is that most of the components, except the spring mechanism, are the same on the President. However, the spring plays a big part in creating the airtight seal around the nib.
I've updated the description with the best information that I have, and I welcome your feedback.
