the new Platy bottles don't mate with Sawyer filters. this says it's the old version so does this for sure have threads that will mate with Sawyer filter?..

I've seen example of both side by side and it is not user error, they changed the threads. I think it may have to do with their proprietary filter system but in the end, I think that only hurts them. Sawyer pretty much has the lightweight hiker system sewed up. anyone with that system (like me) is now looking for for another collapsible bottle. thanks for the tip on Evernew...

SecondmouseI have a good supply of these,I've picked them up here and there so I'm set. I like you also use the Sawyer filter,your right Platapus shot their self in the foot with the new threads....thanks for the tip about evernew....in case I loose all 7 Platapus 2 liters I have..lol
