The opening looks small, how easy is it to fill?

Nicu24The opening is similar to disposible water bottles you may be familiar with. Easy enough to fill from faucets, water coolers, Sawyer, etc.

how do you clean it?

Ren3I only fill mine with water, to clean I use denture cleaning tablets , then dry in the sun.I don't use dish washing soap the suds are almost impossible to rinse out . They are not the easiest to clean, that's why I only fill with water. I find these bottles to be really handy - useful.

Ren3On trail, I use warmed water and a drop of Dr. Bronner's. Not the easiest to rinse out, but I use the unscented Dr. Bronner's and any little residue left behind doesn't affect anything.
