Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 9/8. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 9/9 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Plenty Vaporizer Complete Set and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 9/10.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 9/2.

Quick update for the group. We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse. We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.

I've owned both the Volcano and the Plenty. They're both absolutely incredible devices and frankly I do not think that there is any kind of difference in the quality of the vapor. To me there's no wrong purchase to be made but the Plenty has these advantages over its iconic big sister:
1. There's no fan like on the Volcano so it's 100% quiet. 2. It's a bit more discrete - no one has any clue what it is and assumes it's a Black & Decker tool of some sort. You could probably get away with keeping it mixed in with power tools though it is definitely more fragile than an actual power tool so you should take good care of it. 3. It's not portable exactly but it's certainly much more portable than the Volcano. Very easy to throw in your backpack if you're going to someone else's house. 4. If you've ever suffered from asthma when smoking the old fashioned way, this will completely eliminate it. While the Plenty will make me cough when the vapor is too thick, it has never, ever come close to triggering an asthma attack. It has, however, helped me (on numerous occasions) to clear up my lungs and sinuses when suffering from a cold. 5. It's significantly cheaper than the Volcano and at this Massdrop price it's quite honestly a no-brainer.
This last point is important. If you don't think you have enough money for this device it's because you're not aware of just HOW MUCH MONEY YOU WILL SAVE because:
- It's very efficient: it only heats up at the temperature you want it to and it only extracts whatever you pull. Plus removing the chamber holding the herbs or extracts is super easy when you're done smoking, which I recommend doing.
- The temperature control means that you're not inhaling everything in your herbs (if that's what you have in the chamber), but rather a smooth, high concentration of the most relevant chemicals.
- The effects will be more potent and will last longer than most other delivery methods save perhaps for ingestion.
- If you have decent self-restraint, you will not go for the highest temperature setting ALWAYS and just try out different temperatures to see just how much is enough for you. It's almost never the higher setting. Personally, I keep my Plenty at a low setting of 3.5-4 when I refill the chamber, and bump it up to 4.5-5 when it gets closer to the end. Not only do you end up saving on materials by combusting it at a slower pace, but the added bonus is that the vapor is smoother and tastier.
Here are the downsides: 1. The main body can handle a fall but the additional parts (e.g., the chamber) will sometimes have the plastic chip off when dropped. Replacement parts are available from Storz & Bickel. 2. The power cord will get annoying sometimes. It would be cool if they had a system a bit like the Macbooks where it could unplug on both ends. 3. I wish it was a bit more portable and a bit less visible. 4. It was clearly built by a team of German engineers who ignored and/or dismissed any kind of aesthetic suggestion.
I was initially going to put as a downside the fact that this device has a three minute heat-up time. But after using it for a while, I realized that three minutes goes by quite quickly and once it's warm it takes a while to cool down (15-20 mins or so). Besides you can keep it warm with a quick click of the trigger so once it's been heated it pretty much becomes a non-issue.
Buying the Plenty is like choosing the Holy Grail in Indiana Jones; "this is a carpenter's cup." The Plenty may be ugly, but it does make me feel like my gunshot wounds have been healed and I've been given eternal life and youth whenever I use it.
