It's unfortunate that the "original" version offered here is not the same as the one listed on the maker's Etsy page (https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/293417629/plier-spinning-top-175-saturn-copper?ref=shop_home). That version has rounded edges which would greatly reduce friction and increase spin times when spinning the top on its side. Plus IMHO it looks better.
