Looking good! What set is the Grey+White-Legends from?.. its ridiculously hard to find "00"
I managed to get socketed LEDs (2x3x4mm) so I'm holding out for the PBT+POM backlit set to come back for mine.
Received mine today - very happy with it! A little unhappy about the attached cable and the red PCB behind the keys, but I think I'll remove the cable and add a USB mini connector down the road. The keys feel great and with the switches being PCB mount I'll be able to easily change out the stems to clears. I use the 10 key a lot being a graphic designer so this keyboard will definitely be my new daily driver at work.
this is a PCB mounted bored ..... Right ??
Great news group! We’re happy to report that all of the orders have been shipped out from our warehouse and are now on the way to you! Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to get into the shipper's system and start updating.
If there’s anything else we can do to make your Massdrop experience better, feel free to contact us via “Contact Support” button in your transaction page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions).
Doesn't work on Mac (or Linux for that matter), and I can't get Fn+F12 to make it work. Why was there no disclaimer that this doesn't work on 2/3 of the major operating systems available? Can I exchange it for a keyboard that is actually usable for me?

If you're located in the US and can't get an exchange sorted, I might be willing to take that board off your hands. I'd intended to swap the switched to ergo clears anywho.

Yeah, I am not sure what that function key combination is supposed to do. Anyway, the fact that this particular key combo doesn't work is not a major issue anyway. The major issue is the fact that I can't alt-shift-tab (without releasing alt) after I've alt-tab'ed, if you understand what I mean. This is pathetic and seriously hampers the experience. Even the 10$ keyboard I used before could do that. I am rather disappointed in spending a considerable sum on a keyboard that, above all else, doesn't perform the most basic functionality I'd expect from a keyboard.
We spoke with Plum earlier today and the remaining keyboards that were short shipped are already on their way to us. We are expecting this shipment to arrive our warehouse towards end of the week next week.
Our warehouse is prepared to get your package shipped out the moment it arrives. Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 3/6 or sooner.
Just got a slip from the delivery company stating that i have to pay £20 pound for the delivery since it came was from outside EU.
did the price that we pay included the delivery payment? from UK btw
Definitely disappointed that the wireless model is not what was on drop, which I inferred from the "Included: Micro USB Cable" on the description. If this is dropped again, not in the wireless version, I would recommend changing that line, or explicitly stating that the drop is not for the wireless version. I can understand as they didn't explicitly say that it is the wireless model I should not have assumed that it was, and I don't think I'll send the keyboard back ( wireless isn't *that* important to me ), but I was definitely bummed that this drop wasn't for the wireless.
Other than that, I so far enjoy my new Blacks and the layout of the board.
Just a quick update, we have received the shipment of the keyboards earlier this week from the vendor in China. Our warehouse guys were able to subsequently shipped out all the keyboards that came in to everyone.
Unfortunately, this shipment came in short and we were missing just a few keyboards in Brown MX switches. We have already notified the vendor and they are rushing to get another shipment out to us. We are expecting shipment update from the vendor by tomorrow, and we'll report back as soon as we find out more.
Thanks for your patience, and expect an update from us on 2/27 or sooner.
Received my first mechanical keyboard today. Loving it so far, despite being a tiny bit disappointed it isn't in fact wireless, but again that was our hopeful assumption. What it is missing that was stated is "Micro USB". Mine has a USB connector, and inside the casing a 5-pin JST connecting it to the PCB. No biggie, but maybe Massdrop should change the description if this re-drops. Notable things I was happy to see was the PCB printed with the direction that the LEDs are supposed to go and overall good look and feel to the keyboard.
[Note to Linux users] I noticed if I unplugged the keyboard then plugged it back into my Arch Linux machine it started acting strange, for example pressing "l" resulted in "jkl". After a bit of tinkering it seems the easiest solution is to press "Fn + F12" (I believe this toggles Apple/Windows mode). Doing "rmmod hid_generic; modprobe hid_generic" is the other alternative, besides rebooting.. It doesn't exhibit this behavior in my Windows 8.1 machine.
Now to find a pack of LEDs and ponder O-rings as well as keycap sets that either include "00" or can make some kind of nice combo with the originals in-place..

I don't have anything in front of me to verify but I'm pretty sure that's the n-key rollover causing that issue. Pretty sure hitting that key combo switches it to 6-key rollover.

Yep NKRO seems to be the culprit. I tried mashing a bunch of keys (asdfjkl;) and interestingly enough it triggers the 'capslock' led/function to toggle, as well as make the keyboard stop registering the crazy inputs. Thanks for providing another workaround, heh.
On another note, could you help us figure out the addition of LEDs? I put my multimeter across a few of the the LED holes on the PCB and it saw no voltage. What I assumed was the LED-on/off toggle (Fn + F7) didn't change that.
Great news! The vendor let us know that the group's order is on its way to our warehouse as of late last week. Based on the shipping schedule we were given, we are expecting the shipment to arrive within this week. So far we are looking very good to be able to ship everyone's order out ahead of the schedule.
The order will arrive in a bulk shipment and our warehouse team is ready to break it down into individual packages and send them out to you as soon as it arrives.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 2/25 or sooner.
Aand yeah, I should have paid way more attention to this drop when it was available. Trying to get accustomed to the TKL + Numbpad setup I've got just isn't the same. External Numpad takes desk space I'd rather not occupy while browsing, but TKL board lacks that right Enter key - I can't tell you how many times I've thumbed that right arrow key.
As for Photoshop shortcuts, I'm only now realizing the Plum has dedicated "+" and "-" keys, so zooming wouldn't be an issue. That was my biggest problem with the QfTK, the "-" key defaulted to "Pause", so I couldn't use the zoom out shortcut without disabling the arrows. The only real problem I'd have with the Plum is remapping the Ctrl+0 shortcut to another set of keys, and really, I'd probably have access to 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Not to mention that the PCB-mounted switches means I could switch the board over to Ergo-Clears.
All in all, I really regret not grabbing one of these boards with Brown switches, and I don't see this drop returning any time soon, so I'll be hunting down a TaoBao proxy.

For the proxy, try hitting up qtan on either geekhack or his personal webstore on ebay or his website, Very highly rated. I've been trying to work with him to get something set up for an import, but he runs a great business.

I was a bit late with qtan. Chinese New Year's going to prevent me getting a solid yes or no until next month. Ah well, time to save up I suppose.
We spoke with the vendor earlier today and they’re still in the process of preparing the group's order for shipment. We were told the order will be ready for shipment within the next couple of days right before the start of the Chinese New Year.
Once the group’s order is ready, the vendor will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse where we’ll break it up into individual orders and ship them off to you as soon as possible.
Our warehouse is prepared to get your package shipped out the moment it arrives. Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 2/18 or sooner.
Wait, so is this the wireless version or not ? Because I'd actually prefer the wired one to the wireless.
Thanks again for joining the drop with the community. We submitted the group’s order with the vendor for the Plum Keyboard shortly after the drop ended and they have begun preparing it for shipment.
Once the group’s order is ready at the vendor’s location, they will send the bulk shipment to our fulfillment center where we’ll break it up into individual orders and ship them off to you as soon as possible.
The moment we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule from the vendor, we will provide you guys with updated information on the status of your package.
Expect an update from us on 2/10 or sooner.
So glad I got in on this as 48/50!
I would buy if browns open up again.
I've been thinking about getting a mechanical keyboard for a long time, but the combination of price/size/numpad never seemed to work out. Definitly looking forward to finally upgrading.

MD Mods: Can't you get a few more Reds/Browns? Don't make me buy Black :(...
Ok, trigger pulled... now, what size LEDs fit and what're some good keycaps to go with this little guy?
dangit, brown became available again earlier today but I decided to wait and place the order later...now it's not available again!

Sorry :(

I feel your pain bro. Hopefully MassDrop won't have any issues with the transactions on these and they will be back up in the future.
I can't tell from the pictures, but can someone from Massdrop confirm that this is a PCB NOT PLATE MOUNTED keyboard? The Plum usually is, but I just want to make sure.

Agreed. This is PCB mounted from first glance. Metal doesn't have that 'mesh' of a PCB.
pyrobunny
there's a reddit review on /r/mechanicalkeyboards that shows pictures of the red PCB the switches are mounted to.
Would be really *********AWESOME********** if MassDrop could set up a Buy for POM keycaps. So tired of seeing TaoHao's ABS / Keycool PBT ... Let's have something different son!!
Wireless or not?
Any chance there will be a drop with the plate mounted version?
I ventured into this keyboard, Will be My first. I hope it doesn't disappoint me....
