This will be my first EC (electro capacitive) board, and I'm super excited. It came at an amazing time. I wouldn't want to take my MK into class, but this more subdued, and I'm hoping/assuming, and quieter board should be an amazing fit with my iPad (required for school). c: The size is ideal for EDC (every day carry), subdued for incognito respect in class, and just beautiful and just in-line with my aesthetic for KB's! Thanks Massdrop for another cool drop. I really need to stop spending money on this site xp

T43Y00NHow do you like it now that you've owned it for a while? Thanks :-)

airstrikeActually a very heavy board for its size and demeanor. The switches are almost linear as the tactile bump is just too light and makes for a non-existent bump. The colors and BlueTooth capabilities are the only up sides, other than the MX compatible stems and good stabilizers. I would pass on this unless you are looking for a very light linear experience and something that really is only there for the Bluetooth capabilities and not so much a travel board.

T43Y00NThanks, that's super helpful. I used to think I was OK with linear but after a couple of months using my current Anne Pro with reds the bottoming out is starting to get to me. Do you bottom out a lot? I would imagine it feels softer nonetheless...
I don't travel with the board at all so that's not a major issue. Bluetooth is nice cause I hate cables on my desk.
What would you recommend if I wanted a compact factor (no arrow keys but with Function row)?

airstrikeI actually love linears, but that is spoken from finer taste and experience (ZealPC's Tealio Linears, which are 67g vs I think a 50ish g MX Red spring). I don't bottom out often from years of typing and refining my technique, though I do prefer the sound of bottoming out on linears for the acoustic experience, at least on my Tealios. The Plum Nano doesn't feel mushy, but it just feels so unsatisfying. It is nice and smooth, though, if that is a factor you think is important. I honestly love the 60% layout best and using the Function key + number row for your "F" layer. The extra space it saves is honestly lovely and learning to use 2 key presses to refresh your page and what-not is not much harder than learning to use your number row rather than you number pad. 60% boards are especially nice compared to TKL's and 75% boards.
If you can live without the arrows, which I honestly can't and switch to larger boards and have dedicated macro pads just for them, I'd go for the full transition and get on the 60% train. If you seriously can't live without the function row, then you're mostly stuck with form factors that make you keep the arrow cluster as well, ie. TKL and 75%.

T43Y00NThanks. I'm totally on the 60% train and have gotten used to no arrows very quickly. Function rows are a must, though, since I do 90% of my work in Excel / PowerPoint...
Thanks for the detailed feedback. I think I might just try the Plum for the "nice and smooth" feeling. Hopefully it won't feel that unsatisfying... In the meantime I'll work on my technique with the Anne Pro to try bottoming out a bit less!
