My keyboard is already dead. I should have stayed with cherry/gateron keyboards. Had I bought this on ebay instead of here (it was the same price), at least I could have tried paypal protection to get part of the money back (180 days now).
is it programmable?
Just like its sibling boards, these should be easily convertible to 45g or 55g with replacement dome sheets from Korea. http://www.ebay.com/itm/112137004390 . There are even 65g domes now, for those of you who have sledgehammers for fingers!
XMIT
Just ordered a 55 and a 65 to try, thanks for the link!
Would I be able to use cherry keycaps with this? It looks like I could, but I want to be sure before I buy this.

Yes

Thanks
isn't 30g too soft?
backstabbd88
Very soft compared to other mechy boards, but feels great coming straight from a rubber dome. The electromechanicals feel amazing, but coming from a clicky or stiff mechanical switch they feel very, very light.
Start offering this in 55g and people will go crazy for it
Ben.B
There is also a 65g version that I suspect the Tactile MX Grey group would like.
There are 4 days left. It's not too late to add a black / black side printed POM option!
Is there a Bluetooth version to the 87 keys?
Is the case aluminum?
why no one's buying

Yeah that's what I was gonna say. If they just did 55 gram they'd sell better I think
Does anyone know how the caps/num/scroll lock indicators work? I don't see LEDs on the keyboard or windowed key caps.
and i thought 35 gram was soft.......
Is it really water resistant? And can it also be waterproof?
Xermador
If it's waterproof it would be hilarious for someone to get into scuba gear and head down to their YMCA to do an underwater keyboard review.
Even better: include an unboxing. So that as stuff is pulled out of the box it floats to the surface.
For those that are interested, this keyboard appears to be a rebrand of one I own and reviewed a little while back. If you're looking for a heavier variant, gmarket sells it with both 45 and 55g: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/59pl4h/review_my_review_of_the_abko_hacker_k945p_55g/

I thought that the kludge was a gamer rebrand of the plum, since plum is the company that makes the clone switches themselves, but I could be wrong.
ChaosShallReign
Plum isn't the ones that make the switch. It's a factory in China that makes it for several manufacturers including G-Tune, Abko, RK, and Plum
Perfect for the clumsy apple enthusiasts.
the top housing of the keyboard looks metal, but I can't find any information whether it is metal or isn't. Can anyone confirm?

The top casing is a semi matte clear plastic, and the bottom is a white plastic. Keep in mind that the clear matte plastic/acrylic later has cutouts around the keys, so when you bottom out it bottoms out onto the metal, not plastic.
PhantomTaco
Is the bottom translucent plastic? Can you take a picture of the bottom of the keyboard?
Damn 30g switches are just too light. Could someone spring swap these for heavier springs? Or is it impossible/too much of a hassle?
cr0n1c
You swap the domes, which is easy and a very worthy upgrade. A seller on ebay sells 45g, 55g, or 65g domes.
Edit: Found the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Electrostatic-Capacitive-Rubber-Dome-Sheet-35g-45g-55g-65g-/112137004390
usually there is also a set of springs that you can add under the caps if you feel it's too light. but i must say (i use one as my main keyboard) that after a while i adjusted to the lightness... [edit] btw, it is the 'thockyest' kb i own, but i lubed it and i changed the caps (sa ice from pmk), even if it's a bit more scratchy than the rf 45g i also own
The gap between key clusters (navigation+arrows / numpad) is getting smaller and smaller. Back in my day a fella could rest a weary finger in that space. Could this even fit a pencil?
45g please! 30g is jus too light

45g or 55g and I'm in.
MASSDROP: I hope you will see this in time especially since this drop just started!
Plum sells a variant of this keyboard that is black with side printed POM keycaps. Is it too late to add this?
Does a water resistant version of the Plum84 exist? As for this drop, is the cable permanently attached? And is it available with heavier domes anywhere else?
