@PLUSSOUND Is there any way to disable the beeping sounds that fire when the battery gets low and when the device is powered off?
I’ve been using this cable with Massdrop x Noble X Universal IEMs, and the beeping sounds with these sensitive IEMs are extremely loud and painful. I find myself afraid to use the device as the battery level decreases because I know that at some unexpected moment there will be explosive beeping in my inner ear.
I love the build quality of the cable. I find it more comfortable and more premium-feeling than Noble’s stock cable, which was already great. I will have to return the product to Massdrop if the dangerous beeping can’t be stopped, but I’m not pleased by the thought of returning it as I’ve actually come to like this cable quite a lot. I’d love to keep it if I can.

emojiWhile music is paused, you can lower the notification sounds by simply pressing - button.

PLUSSOUNDThank you, that helps a lot!
When the notification sounds are at their lowest volume, they are tolerable. As far as I can tell, the volume setting is saved between powering off and back on. The power-off sound is now completely tolerable, but the power-on sound seems to consist of 6 tones—the first 4 are lowered, but the final 2 are still quite loud.
Anyway, as long as I power on the device before inserting the monitors into my ears, it should be fine. Thanks again for the help.

PLUSSOUND@PLUSSOUND Just received my Bluetooth cables today. I put them on the charger until the light was blue. I connected them to my Audio 64 A3's. I paired them with my MacBook and did a headphone test at audiocheck.net. Then I paired with my iPhone and fired-up some Jethro Tull. First let me say the build quality is excellent, 100% happy with my purchase And the sound quality is all I can expect from Bluetooth.
As to the the comment about the loud beeps at power on/off (alert tones is what I call them). I agree with the above comment that these are almost intolerable, borderline painful. Please get an engineer to create the default sound level for these alert tones at the lowest level.
I have read through the PDF multiple times, and I have implemented the "simple" suggestion listed above. However, you really need to add a section in the PDF about this procedure. And you need to be much more remedial/verbose about the steps involved, plus the expected results.
I needed to run through this procedure multiple times, it wasn't until I discovered that I needed to press the "-" button directly after I paused the music, only then did I hear the "confirmation tone" alerting me that the volume of the alert tones were decreasing.
Just to repeat myself, I needed to pause the music and immediately press the minus button and hear a single tone, and then restart the music and repeat this procedure multiple times to get the alert tones to the lowest level possible. It seems I could only decrease the alert tones 1 or maybe 2 steps each time.
Nevertheless, I am happy now with the sound level of the alert tones.
