Neat little artisan.

The stem fit was quite tight, rbg shine through wasn't really great. Looks ok on the board but the circular shape is a little our of place.

forgot to leave this review way back when.

opaque. doesnt shine through. can barely see details of wood. The white cloudiness doesnt look like low hanging clouds. it just spreads up making it opaque and ugly.

There's a giant seam running straight down the middle of the cap as if two pieces were stuck together. There's no fog in that seam and you can see straight down to the stem. There were quite a few issues with this the last time it dropped but I assumed it would've been fixed this time. Guess I was wrong.

The scene I got was beautiful, and very much like the pictures. Deep, enchanting blue, lots of spiky mountains. Stem fits nicely too. However, there are two areas of the base where the wood is missing -- it's just filled with resin instead. So it kind of ruins the effect by having a big blob of backlight shining through. I understand every one is unique and that natural defects and variations will occur, hence only dinging it one star. But it is unfortunate that I got a wonky one.

I went into this drop knowing that each keycap is different. I knew I shouldn't expect it to look exactly like the images in the listing, but I'm a bit disappointed in what I got. Instead of a nice, cloudy scene, I have a resin-chasm surrounded by wood.

As much as I love the broken wood aesthetic, this is... underwhelming. If I'd known the results would vary that much, I'd have avoided dropping $40 for this.

These artisans look very good and I am pleased with what I have received. I ordered Northern Lights and Glacier. I really appreciate how the artisans are polygonal allowing the artisans to be put with any keyset. I hope more artisan makers that use resin don't conform their artisans into specific profiles (e.g. SA, cherry profiles).
A tiny gripe is how my Glacier looks a tad bit like Lagoon but as Big Kid Design said, they are not identical to the pictures. The surface is smooth for the most part with minimal imperfections on the surface that can only be noticed if inspected closely.
A good product for its price and might get some more in the future.
