My Delica 4 clip broke recently and I was looking for a replacement, My only concern is that by design it's a 3 screw clip and the Pop's one is only 2 screws. Has this been a problem for anyone? Also, does it tend to grab on clothing?

AngryAccountantHi, and let me just say that many knife clips only use 2 attachment screws and I can tell you from years of experience that laterally you will experience the same flex as 3 hole clip. Depends more on the design and thickness of the clip than on the number of screws. Also, these screws are countersunk flat head screws, so you shouldn't have any grab. Please let me know if you have any other questions! - Pops

PopsCustomClipsHi, Thanks for the response, I'm aware many knives only use a 2 screw design, I'm not worried about that as much as I am the plastic it seems they screw into on a Delicia (or do the screws go into threads on the liner? I've not taken that knife apart recently.) If they designed it with three screws, there must be a reason. As for the grabbing on clothing, my classic example is the clip + inserts on a Kershaw Blur, which in my experience just shreds the pocket you're using it with. I suppose this is alleviated by resting the end of the clip on the flat of the Spyderco logo though.

AngryAccountantYes, the liners are threaded on the Delica. Resting the pinch point on the flat logo does help with that grabbing you described.
