I have owned the gold finish fountain pen and matching pencil for many years, so I can attest to their durability.
I do have to wonder how both finishes are being offered at the same price, since the gold normally runs about 100 dollars more than the stainless.
The MD price is noteworthy for anyone who isn't already an owner.
