Priceless = posters pointing out the incompatiblity of deluxe with expansions. Brought to you by MasterCard.
Although I would quibble with the utility of the "weekly savings" metric.

ChicagoWayQuibble away - I'm a hater on these recent drops. They aren't giving us any reasonable savings, not to mention this drop's incompatibility with itself.
I don't work here man, I'm just the Dude.

bonesetterMy problem with the "weekly savings" is that is it not useful for many of us to think in those terms. If it is a savings, its a savings. If it is not worth the wait does it mater if you divide by weeks, days, or minutes?
I understand your frustration with some of the drops (the Blue Yeti is just silly). But really on some of the drops (not this one in particular) where one is saving $5 on something that is $40 I do not have a problem with the low absolute value (as apposed to relative value). As someone else pointed out for many of us very dollar adds up. On something that has such a low price point not sure what one expects. There is not much wiggle room to go lower.

bonesetterWell "reasonable" is subjective of course. I agree with you that this drop shouldn't have included a game that has expansions for a completely different game (quite misleading actually). I think the main thing people need to realize is that Massdrop is focused on giving good prices, but the site offers more than that. For example, when I browse the different categories on the site, all the products I see are interesting, unique, and high-quality. Other sites like Amazon don't really do that. I guess my point is that if you're only here on Massdrop for amazing deals, you probably won't have a great time (there are occasions when pretty good deals come out like Trains).
