I received my case from the separate utility drop, and the purple looks a lot darker (almost gunmetal) than the renders(?) The logo is printed on rather than engraved like the Planck cases.

monmonI got the same one. I like it! It’s a subtle purple and I think it will look amazing with my MT3 Apollo ortho kit I ordered for it. A purple-ish gunmetal sounds unique and the Apollo colors will stand out more for sure. 🤗🤩

monmonI grabbed purple too. That looks pretty dark, and almost not such a shiny finish. I'd rather see darker than lighter with purple cases. Sometimes they look pink more than purple. My KBD75 is a nice medium.

monmonYES! I got mine today and I'm definitely finding the "purple" on my case. I have to put it up against a lot of light to get the hint of purple. I expected it to be much brighter than this.

monmonI have the same exact "purple" anodized case and must admit gunmetal would have been far more satisfying. I mean, the purple accent OLKB Acute keycaps are far brighter...

KM1337This set up was about $150. The rev 2 it's honestly hard to use because some common punctuations are not there, and you have to find places for them. The rev 1 plate it's easier to use for daily stuff.

Johnny831I know that struggle, I've used a Minivan R1 for a few weeks as a daily driver and it forced me to revise my layers a handful of times to get something comfortably usable.

KM1337If you know how to do that you'll be fine. The KBD75 was my first kit ever, and I actually set it aside for a while, then figured out how to layer it how I wanted, and now its fine. Currently rocking any ortholiner...

KM1337Yep. Strangely addicting as you can press them really hard. 4 hako box clears for super duper tactile feels. I tend to type really hard because I'm a cave man, and this works for me...

monmonI am probably going to end up recommending DSA 2049 as the best keyset for this purple case. The Signature Plastics PBT sample for RCE, the color used in DSA 2049, is shown up front in this pic. From all angles of light it's clearly a very close match. Behind it is the lighter ABS samle for RCJ, the color of purple used in DSA Hana. It looks good with the case color but is still noticably lighter. Finally in the back there is a purple accent key from OLKB's Acute keyset. It's much brighter and vivid compared to the case. Probably the OLKB Acute accent colors would have been better matched if the cases were powder coated, although that certainly would have raised the cost. (this comment was copypasta from elsewhere, hope u dont mind)
