My completely personal opinion is that the LSR305's are pretty good, but the mids are too recessed for my ears to master vocals well. I'd get the JBLs if I wanted to build a custom home theatre.

SennyThat's true, but I felt that overall the Presonus had too prevalent of a bass boost and sounds were noticeably sharp. JBL has its faults too but again, they're so close it's up to your preference.
