Ordered today as a winter camping pot to melt snow. Yes it is big but I will hold my gas stove and some extra stuff inside. When you know you will be blowing through a lot of BTU's, the heat exchanger makes sense. My gas stove is the Primus OmniFuel-Ti. It is low power unit by gas stove standards, so the heat exchanger is almost a requirement when using such a large pot.
davidbenjHi @davidbenj I'm sorry that the smaller version was not available in this particular model but we will have more Primus stoves that are offered in sizes smaller than 3L.
Thanks!
I probably couldn't make use of a 3L. Unless maybe out back after a hurricane knocks power out.
I like my 1L though. Not only does the heat exchanger make it more efficient but it also helps with the wind when set down around the burner.
I don't own, and haven't owed much non-stick so may not be a very good judge but I like this. I can cook Knorr Alfredo or Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain without it thickening up and having to scrape it off the bottom like I do far too often when using bare titanium. I guess I just don't like being limited. :-)
I wish there was a 700-800 mL version.
