I've had this stove for over 2 years now and I can't say enough about it. The versatility of this setup is outstanding! First and foremost it boils water quickly with the heat fins. It's not a Jetboil but the difference in seconds is an easy tradeoff for the amount of things you can do with this stove. Hell, I've even grilled, margherita pizza wraps from Packit Gourmet in there and they came out perfect! The only negative I would mention is the piezo lighter that ultimately will stop working at some point. But that seems to be the case with most built in lighters.

bootlegger22Looks like a nice set. I'd be curious as to how well the (very) partial windscreen works although in conjunction with the HX pot, I think it holds promise.

hikin_jimScreen works well. I haven't had it in super high winds but it has been windy and performed well. It adds little weight and packs easily too. I know it sound like a salesman for this set but in my limited experience with cookware and modest experience in the woods there hasn't been a situation where I've needed something else. Heck a pot like this also is great for gathering water to pour in a bag too!

bootlegger22I do like how this pot can be used on other stoves, and the stove can be used with other pots. This makes it a lot more flexible if you want to have a two pot meal, or one pot for hot water and one for cooking. Or, you could use a lighter stove and leave the windscreen at home for an even lighter setup. Hmm, I'll have to try this on some stoves tomorrow.
