Hey everyone - thanks for the questions and sorry that we didn't provide all the info you needed to help you join the drop. I'll try to answer everything at once here.
People like a lantern like this because it is really warm and it has a very pleasant glow, unlike most LED lanterns. It also is compact and using the super popular compressed fuel cartridges that most people are using these days.
1) the long cable from both sides is to hang the lantern, could be from a tree branch, a pole, or a cord strung between two trees. @Woodythehiker
2) This uses compressed gas canisters (iso-butane cartrige), like those made by Primus, MSR, Snow Peak, JetBoil, Kovea, Etc. @Penandink
3) Primus advises against using this in a confined area with no air flow. But I'm sure you can find people who have used this safely to warm and dry their tent with proper ventilation. @RustyBridges
4) Kovea does make an LPG adaptor to use devices like this and top-mount stoves with a propane canister (like the green Coleman ones found in every sport and hardware store) @ribo
5) Mantles are made by Primus and are very affordable, though you shouldn't have to replace them too often. @Paul321 says that you can used Coleman #51 mantles too. @G-Deuce
6) Estimated ship date is March 31, which is stated at the bottom of the product description page. @wildrnesxperienc
I looked through a bunch of videos about this lantern and haven't found anything *great* but here's one to check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36RREcJfCtU

DannyMilksThanks Danny, this is a great move from Primus, these kind of lanterns totally bring me back to my childhood, camping with my father, what a great Idea to modernize it
