About the weight savings vs Omnifuel II that I have, the only difference is the stove itself being about 110 grams lighter, all the accessories, bottle, pump, bag etc. are the same between the two, am I right?

fincYou are almost correct. The accessories are made of the same materials, except the bag. The bottle is a small .35 liter in this drop. When I bought this drop a few months back i believe it was a half liter bottle, i cant check right now. And when I bought the regular omnifuel stove a few years back, it came with a liter bottle. Which ive lost... The biggest difference, and it is a bummer of a difference, is the storage bag with this lite ti version is a giant oversized very heavy bag. It is bomb proof, no kidding it is like military grade cordura, and it fits everything with much room to spare. Makes NO sense why they did this with a lite version stove. I have the ti and the original and swapped the bags around so it works out. I also only use this stove when with small groups, so I can have one of us carry the stove and the other carry the fuel and pump. Both the ti and the original are definitely my favorite stoves of my collection, they are true workhorses and expedition worthy. The canvas bag of this kit though belongs on a shelf or on a military expedition..

908carl@908carl Thanks a lot for the info, in that case I'll pass this drop as I'm not that weight conscious. By the way, my Omnifuel II came with a 0.6 L bottle and also with that cordura like bag. I mean the bag is nice and will probably outlive my grand kids and might even fit one of them inside, but I wish it came with a much more compact hard case.
All in all, this price on massdrop is seriously great for a fantastic stove that can burn almost anything, and I heavily recommend it. I had to force myself to not buy this as an impulse purchase. For people who are new to the liquid fuel, pressurized stoves, this thing right here is very loud (just like MSR Dragonfly), although I absolutely love that jet engine sound, not everyone does. Also recommend buying Kovea LPG adapter for people in USA/Canada to extend the whole "it burns anything!" feature, that will allow you to use green Coleman propane tanks that you can find at Walmart/Home Depot for cheap . This is the adapter at amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Kovea-LPG-Adaptor-Small-Silver/dp/B00CFPISZW Both the adapter and those green tanks are pretty heavy, so buyer beware, it's more for car camping/disaster/zombie apocalypse preparedness.

fincgood recommendation on the kovea adapter, hadnt occurred to me that that was an option. i agree with all you said, that roaring sound is awesome. it calls you to warm your hands while boiling water on chilly damp evenings.
