Yeah, QC seems pretty dreadful. Magnet also doesn't do shit to stop it from rotating and it'd probably even separate in a bag or pocket, so this thing is pretty much useless to me unless i carry it around in the nice but overly large container, which I'll never do. Bummer.

@valence I can sort of notice an odd silicone smell, yeah. Haven't used it yet so can't tell you how it tastes.

StefanThe magnets should swivel, but it should not spin freely. Does your Puk Pipe halves spin freely after applying force?

andyIt doesn't spin that freely no, although it was pretty easy to get the halves to disconnect by accident. I loaded it up with pepper corns in all of the compartments to see if it'd spill out when i carried it in my pocket, and it did in several attempts (after 10 minutes tops of sitting or walking). I've not tested it in my bag yet, but i'm expecting that after not much longer, the same will have happened due to how little force is needed. I guess the pipe would still be useful if you carried it around in the case it comes with, but because of how unwieldy it is, that just defeats the benefit of not having to carry a secondary container/grinder which I was excited for. I'm also a bit bothered by the smell of the silicone.

All in all it's a neat thing for the drop price, but I don't trust it with my herb. Perhaps if the magnets were closer together and had a non-round shape that issue would be resolved.

edit; I have to be more careful ordering drops to my parents' address from now on. Scent dispenser! I will never hear the end of it.
