Technically, yes there's cashmere in there, but it's 65% nylon/viscose.

brainwaveCorrect. The synthetics are in there for stretch, mostly. Socks that are 100% animal fibers do exist, but besides being much more expensive, they typically need to be purchased in sizes (like 8, 9, 10, etc). Here's an example:
