Small is a 44? That's not centimeters. And it can't be inches either.

WolflingdaddyHa! Good point. Could it be the measurement from one end of the waist to the other laid flat (i.e., half the waist measurement) in cm? That would put the small at about 34.5" inch waist... which would be a pretty big small, even considering that it says "All waist sizes are based on actual waist measurements (not pant size)". I'm typically a 34" pant size even though I'm a 36" waist, so maybe I'd be a Medium? Usually a Large on boxers though. Really a shot in the dark here...
