It's an interesting concept and looks great from the front. My only complaint is the split tail in the back. Those are helpful on longer coats to provide freedom of movement, but on a jacket this short it wouldn't be helpful and the cords could be irritating when they hit your legs or you sit on them.

Note to model: try not to look like your mom is forcing you wear that silly shirt.
Here's a little video to give you some moves to help you fake your way through the next shoot:

I get it, I love seersucker and would wear it year round if it made sense. That said, even with the cord lining, anyone who doesn't know it has a cord lining, to stay warm, will think you are a complete dumbass for wearing a jacket made of seersucker. There is a reason it is taboo to wear seersucker in certain seasons all based on practicality. I would laugh if I saw someone wearing this (not knowing it has a warm lining). This is a hard one to pass on because I love seersucker so much but for those who dress to make a statement, the only statement you are screaming to people is that you have no idea what seersucker is meant for (again, since they have no clue it has a warmer lining).

Thank you, for all of those words. 100% agree with you.
Phinweh, complaining about this jacket, in multiple posts, with little substance nonetheless, is just trying to show that you know something that none of us don't already know. Son, what your Southern Daddy forgot to explain to you, and this is certainly no disrespect to him because I know personally it's hard to teach the little know-it-all shits like you how to think beyond the "rules", is that style evolves. It doesn't always have logic, it changes, it's fun and mixes genres, cultures, and whatever else you can throw in. Bravo to the designer for taking a fun, new spin on a classic.

PhinwehI don't think it'd lined with corduroy. It says it has a corduroy "shell," but they probably mean seersucker.
