My six year old son loves this game. So I'm picking this up for Christmas for him this year, and now I can give my friend his copy back.
Son's still learning to read, but once the cards are on the table and he's been told what they all do he becomes a strategy master. He's also the reason kids aren't allowed to play in Vegas. He is the luckiest roller I have ever met. Says what he needs and rolls it.
Yes strategy is light. Yes it's heavily random, it's dice. But there's lots of replay value as you only put out a fraction of the creatures and spells included each time you play.
There's also a few phone apps that help with setting up sessions. I use Quarriors Randomizer on the Play Store.
Rise of the Demons is out of print. Good luck finding an inexpensive copy to complete the set.

RanwanimatorI echo your statements. We submitted the same review in about a two minute span. Glad to see someone else feels the way i do about Quarriors.
