I regret buying single sided fusion on a previous drop. Double sided is what you need for quilting. For single-sided fusion you can fuse the quilt top and quilt—then baste the backing and quilt again. I have 5 packages of QD single-sided fusion sitting in my closet. Note: I’ve been quilting over two years and I do prefer the standard quilters dream batting.

This will be the first time for Fusion batting for me. I am a big fan on Dream Orient (bamboo) and their Dream Wool.

Shar245It’s on fusible on one side so you can use it on a long arm. When long arming on the machines I’ve used the backing us rolled on separate rollers than the top and batting so it keeps tight and straight as you move through the quilt.
