Eco-Friendly Filling
Created using environmentally friendly fibers, the Quilters Dream Green Batting offers the perfect balance of softness and strength. Made from 100-percent post-consumer recycled plastic, each pound of batting helps keep up to 10 plastic bottles out of landfills. To achieve the soft hand, the plastic bottles are cut, washed, melted, and extruded into fine polyester fibers that are indistinguishable from virgin polyester. Because there are no glues, scrims, or other binders to add resistance, needles can be pulled through with ease. Finally, this batting is machine washable and can be dried without experiencing shrinkage or creasing.
