I wish that the plexiglass had grid lines on it. That would make it a one-ruler maneuver. Because it does not, you must use a second ruler (butt-up to the slide lock) to measure. So it is a little bit cumbersome on the measuring, but the cuts are more exact and there is a lot less pressure on your arm that is holding the ruler in place. I don't know about you, but sometimes I've had a death grip on my ruler so it won't move!
