DoctorTimA more legitimate fix is to sew in conductive thread. If you or a loved one can sew. I read that some online retailers sell it by the foot for exactly this reason, so you don't have to buy a whole spool.

DoctorTimI though these are glove liners, so something that goes between your glove and hands.

anonomouswell the big bulky gloves one might wear over these are impossible to use with any accuracy on a touchscreen. So it's nice to be able to take one off to use your phone, while still having something on your hand to avoid freezing!
