Just got mine. While it's the version in the photo its NOT the one in the video or in some of the photos. The version I have doesn't have a 2 way front zip (which isn't in the photo but is on the description to be fair). Also, it will NOT fold into the chest pocket as per the video, the pocket is a lot smaller and there is no attachment tag to clip it onto a harness. The cuffs are different from the video and so is the roll down mechanism for the hood. It's a velcro tab and not a clasp. On closer examination its the one in the photos but NOT the video. What gives? some of the selling features are missing!

PeterKHi Peter,
Why does it take so long for the shipping? I live in Canada and I've had Amazon.com free shipping show up in less time than Asendia takes to even get the package out of the USA...which 6 days later they still haven't done. The package is still Folcroft. What's the hold up?

jake.L36@jake.L36 - I'll ask Rab but I am pretty sure we have access to every single Strata they have in stock.

If you're unfamiliar with this jacket or the idea of "active insulation," I recommend reading David Chenault's review of the Strata Hoody on BPL. https://backpackinglight.com/forums/topic/97356/
You can get a lighter down jacket (or even synthetic, like the Xenon X) that will keep you just as warm while hanging around camp. The Strata really shines when it's cold outside and you're moving - it provides some warmth *and* breathability, with ability to shed some wind and rain. You don't want to sweat too much (as you would in a puffy jacket or rain shell). It's the layer that you can wear all the time because it breaths so well. No need to stop frequently to take it on or off.

Honestly, this information should always be present before anyone has to ask.

The model has a 38" chest and 31" waist, is wearing the medium Strata, and wears a medium in most brands.
