I have this jacket and I have to say it's one of my favorite jackets. I wish I could have bought it for 119.99, considering it was $215 on sale when I bought it. Considering buying another for my girlfriend so she stops stealing mine. As far as ventilation, this jacket is not the best. Breathability isn't that bad, maybe there are more breathable insulated jackets, but I haven't had an issue. There are no vents, but that wasn't what I was looking for. Its very warm and surprisingly wind resistant, the water resistance isn't the best I've seen. If you need water resistance I'd really recommend putting a thorough DWR coating on this jacket. The fabric will become saturated, but it doesn't effect the loft that much. All in all its features are pretty much spot on for cold winter days or cool mountain mornings. The lack of ventilation seems kind of moot for its application.
