Right now I'm using my Yamaha receiver for my TH-X00. What I like about that is the hardware EQ if I'm really in the mood to boost Bass. Is there any reason this would sound better than my Yamaha receiver that would be worth sacrificing hardware EQ?

JamesXI use a Yamaha receiver also, with PM3s. But the yammie is in my den. I'd like to listen to my PM3s elsewhere at home...
