Alert for dropees: According to support, what's being shown as Tiger Stripe is the Lapd Swat version, which does not, in reality, have tiger stripes. If you want the Lapd Swat version, you need to select the "metallic gray." (But the lapd swat version is not, in reality, metallic gray but looks to be a bit purplish). And if you want the tiger stripe version, that's what you should pick but it will not look like the picture (lapd swat). Am hoping this turns out to be true and you get what you're expecting!

From the POV of self-defense: The question is, would John Wick carry one, lol! The answer is no . . . because Baba Yaga is a killer and would carry something very sharp and pointy :-) But for most of us, we need to consider carrying an "impact weapon" as part of our, dare it be said, EDC! Sorry, the term is overused, maligned, and misunderstood, but nonetheless, it conveys the basic question for us non-wicksters. Yes, in today's environment, you need to carry an impact weapon at all times (and know how to use it). We're not killers, but we want to be able to defend ourselves with "non-lethal" methods, tools, and techniques, depending upon the situation. Will this tool work in this regard? Yes, regardless of all the comments for and against. To each his / her own as they say. The main thing is to standardize on your situation-specific tools and be "at the ready." And yes, it can be used as a prybar too, which makes it a multitool, albeit limited :-) Regards to all.

I get an email saying that this will disappear soon. Can you imagine my relief? Raidops ain't botherin' my head And just like my Fubar that is too big for my hand This is useless sh*t That Raidops is callin' on the dead, it keeps callin' So I just did me some talking to myself And I said this thing needs to stay up on the shelf It's hoping for a job That Raidops are being bot by who? it's a mys-try. But there's one thing I know This junk they want to sell me don't attract me It won't be long till good things pop up to greet me If you like this and got one, more power to you. I have bought plenty of stuff that others thot was useless. My tirade is against what I perceive to be worthless, overpriced junk. I really am not casting aspersions on others tastes.

DROP, Please clarify: The tiger-stripe pic shows the lapd swat model, which does not have tiger stripe per raidops website -- The "CQC CHL.LAPD SWAT" model on the raidops website. However, the "CQC PERSONAL CHL" model on the Raidops website does have the tiger stripe. But the Drop shows the other option as the "Metallic Gray," which is only about $50 on the raidops website and is presented as the "CHL EDC" model on the Raidops website. Thus the Raidops website presents 3 models. Exactly which models are being offered in the drop? If in fact the drop includes the metallic gray / "CHL EDC" as one of the options, the drop is not giving a break on the price as that one is about $50 whereas the other 2 are about $80. Thank you in advance for clarifying.

Well, if there's a market for fidget spinners and tops, why not. 95 sold at this point!

I'm really trying to see something this could be useful for except theres nothing coming up. Titanium prybar that can be a kubaton. Hard pass. Many other better options out there. Oh. Obligatory. I always find myself reaching in my pocket, desiring a soft, rustproof prybar when I'm on my nightly raids in Chicago and Detroit tenements. The freshwater humidity off of the great lakes ALWAYS rusts everything I carry. I never have time to find something else that works as a lever laying around when i need to work without any op planning at all. This raidops lever made of titanium is the exact thing I've been looking for when i go into these apartments. I am the law. I am judge dredd. This is my tool. I am a tool. To serve you.

I clicked on the discussion to add some rather needed snarky remarks and VIOLA! I see that I have been preceded by many who recognize the absolute worthlessness of this. (Unless your on the PTB end of this. That would be P. T. Barnum and not, Powers That Be.) Here's a great big THANK YOU to all those who called out this Can't Quit Crying Multi-Fool.
