I'm not that clued in to the mechanical key market but might I ask why this costs more than some full size mechanical keyboards?

NoPantsSolid, milled construction in a stylish design. Custom PCB with hot swap sockets that is programmable.
Size and number of components doesn't actually play much of a role in the total cost of a keyboard or accessory. Numpads, for example, aren't that much cheaper than a full size keyboard when it comes to quality construction (Leopold FC210, Realforce 21U, etc).
Although as with the custom mechanical keyboard community, it's not for everyone.

CyphreThank you for explaining! I know the mechanical board community tends to lean more towards custom designs and not the mass market products but this particular item kinda confused me :)

NoPantsThis is for someone who already has several boards, prebuilt and custom and are looking for an excuse to get something different for *whatever*. Maybe media keys, perhaps macros for a game they love, maybe as a nice artisan display case. This would never be the first thing that I'd recommend someone get in a foray into the world of mech keebs, more like something that they get after they get several different types of boards in different size factors. It's not essential, it's a fun toy to play with.
