I'm a little confused and maybe some one can help. How do you know if a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses come with polarized lenses or not? I wear prescription so I always get mine made custom polarized anyway but how do you know with the standard lenses? For instance I have the Grey Gradient RB4187 622/8G 54-18. Are they polarized? If not how can you tell since I looked these up and on Ray Ban's site mentions nothing about polarization.
pwnermanIf you have a pair in hand and want to know if they are polarized or not, put them on and look at your phone. Rotate the phone 90 degrees and see if anything happens visually. If something happens, then they are polarized.
pwnermanFor Ray Bans, it's fairly straightforward, The top-left of the lens would say "Ray Ban P" where P stands for polarized. Non-polarized lens would just say "Ray Ban"
