:/ Really? Decks arrived in a cardboard box with a small amount of brown paper as the only padding. 1) The box, although quite a small one, was still much bigger than the decks. These could have just been sent in a bubble mailer. 2) If they HAD been sent in a bubble mailer--or if bubble wrap of any kind were included in the box, I dunno--then maybe the deck boxes wouldn't have arrived dented on the outside. The cards themselves seem fine which is good, but if I saw the closed boxes new in a store I'd have bought a different one. Also, while the gold foil design on the back of the cards is VERY cool, I guess the cardstock is a bit too thin to support the pressure of whatever application method, because you can clearly see the design raised slightly on the front of the cards as well. Still very cool decks, I'm more upset about Drop's rather negligent shipping practices than the quality of the print.

kevinhbOof, actually, on a number of the cards the impression from the design on the back has actually caused some of the printing on the front to come off as well. Raised markings on the front (don't mind the clutter, delivery food arrived around the same time as the mail weirdly):

Damaged deck box. Hard to catch the light well, but there are (small) scores like this on all sides. This side is the worst. Terrible per se? Maybe not, but would've been easy to do much better.

This was especially hard to take a picture of, but you can see some thin flecks of what I believe to be foiling along the edges of the raised design.

This looks like a fun drop for some writing prompt stuff or creative prompts in general but I'm a little disappointed this drop doesn't include the collector's box or the option to add on other decks like the Worlds deck. Any chance we can get options for that kinda stuff added to the drop?

did you just respond to yourself to ask the same exact thing?

sLinissKind of...? Drop doesn't mark which comment was on which drop run of the product. My first comment was when a run of this product was released. My second comment (replying to my first one) was when the next run of this product was released. My intent was to bump that I asked the same question last drop and reiterate my disappointment that there were no add-on products. Sitting here in the future it sure does look silly, though. :P

I can use this to help me with my Halloween costume, with cobwebs on me while waiting for the kit to arrive.

I don't get it, not to shit on anyone's tastes but this is essentially a bunch of drawing prompts? Can't this basically be done on the computer in 10 minutes?

I would agree with you except that the entire description of this game isn't a card game, it's a random number generator for drawing prompts. More of a tool for character creation, I could see this as pretty awesome for creating characters in the Hero system or Big Eyes Small Mouth, RPG system.

john13124Not 10 minutes because even making a generator takes work. And yeah drawing and writing prompts can be done with a generator but I think that something more tangible in the form of cards allows me to mix and match faster and makes a person more committed to it because it doesn't matter if he paints digitally or traditionally or if he has something else on screen, the cards are there.

I think, this drop is in the wrong category

AdamGHThis is an idea generation tool for artists to come up with random characters to write, draw, paint, or create in general. There's probably other ways this can also be used like for pen & paper RPGs, "draw it" games, or writing prompts.

Why is this so expensive at $54? Volumes 1 and 2 can be had on their official website for $15 each. The box is nice, but overpriced at $14. The coin doesn't enhance the experience whatsoever. For a total of $44, you can get the functional essence of this mass drop directly from the creator at $10 cheaper.

SnuggelzI always look at that before buying these and usually it is an awful deal on here. This one also includes a coin, so that could be $5 which makes it equal to the $50 commit price. Cheaper at their site but there is no coin option and shipping.
Their site, you can get Vol1 & 2 and the big box for $52 including shipping. But this ships in April and the site says February 17 but they are all still pre-order. Point is, I don't know what is going on but if no hurry and the coin is important, this site actually has a better deal.
