Small works well enough for Yuin Pk2. Flat cables are tricky but I can put the Nuforce NE-600X on the Medium. Thick cables are the most difficult and even the Large needs some assistance to wind for example the higher-grade USB cable that came with the FiiO X3, but I managed.
My main worry is about wear on earbuds. In videos it seems they let go and let the winder do all the work which is fast and works well but doesn't look very nice on the earbuds as they stop the winding at the end. Easy enough to keep hold of the cable and wind it slow though.
Second, instructions say to "NEVER pull on earbuds, only on the cords" when unwinding, but that's really difficult to do when the cord is all wound up inside the housing, which is pretty much the point of these things. You're supposed to fold the cord with the jack end longer but it doesn't work very well to pull only on the jack end to unwind. What I do is I pull on the jack end enough to reveal some more of the other end but at this point it's a bit tricky to grab hold of this newly exposed cording without letting go of the first... I basically have to put a finger on the winder to keep it from spinning. Not very efficient although I'm already getting better at it, I just noticed. However, is there a better way, am I missing some intended technique?
